Do or Die For the Cowboys
The Cowboys final four games are do or die for them. The Cowboys who are on a 3 game winning streak and stand at 8-4 are now in a 4 team race for the last two spots in the NFC playoffs picture. With the Giants on the verge of clinching the NFC east the cowboys need to take atleast 3 out of the 4 games remaining on their schedule to continue their season into January. But their schedule isnt easy. Their last four games see them competing against 3 teams who are playoff bound. These teams are Pitsburgh, Baltimore, and the Giants. Their first challenge is pittsburgh. The steelers who last week destroyed the New England Patriots up in Foxboro are now looking to crush the boys on pitsburghs home turf. The waether conditon is suppose show for snow and terrible weather which doesnt help dallas at all. Dallas who play in TEXAS in a DOME are not use to bad weather games and with the wind and snow could hurt their offense. The wind will prevent Tony Romo from throwing the deep ball that has led them to 3 straight wins since his return. Cutting out the deep ball also cuts out playmakers Terrell Ownes and Roy Williams from making highlight plays. Dallas's best bet this week is to get the ball as much as they can to Jason Witten. Witten who is considered one of the best tight ends in football will be called upon to chunck up yars on short passes. Dallas will also need their backs to pick up major yards this week but that could be a problem. With future star Felix Jones out for the rest of the season and Marion Barber day to day with sprained toe may prevent this. Barber who is day to day will have to fight through the pain and help dallas rush down the field in this must win game. The defesnse will also need to continue thier latest success. The dallas defesne will have to stop Pitsburgh QB Ben Roelthisberger from making key plays. Dallases D-line has been one one of the best in the leauge but what concerns me is their secondary. Their secondary has banged up all seasson and Roethisberger lets the ball fly stoping reciever Heins Ward may be a problem. This game is a MUST win for dallas. The stakes may be high but dallas has proven this season when their backs are against the wall they have been able to prevail. Lets see and hope Dallas can continue their success and keep their playoff dreams alive. My final prediction for the score is dallas 24 pitsburgh 17.
